Alhamdulillah we will be having our yearly Maulidur Rasul SAW and Haul Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani at the prayer hall of Al Abdul Razak Mosque on 1 January 2025, Wednesday from 9.00am-1.00pm.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The people nearest to me on the Day of Judgment will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me."

Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, also known as Ghaus-ul-Azam (the Great Helper) and Muhiyuddin (Reviver of Religion), was a prominent Islamic scholar, mystic, and preacher born in 1077 CE in the Iranian region of Gilan.
Founder of the Qadiriyya Sufi order, Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani played a crucial role in spreading Islamic teachings and spirituality. His extensive knowledge of the Quran and Hadith, coupled with his deep insight into mysticism, made him a revered figure in the Islamic world.
He dedicated his life to fostering piety, humility, and devotion to Allah. Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani's teachings emphasised the importance of a sincere and heartfelt connection with God, promoting love and compassion for all of humanity.
His spiritual legacy continues to inspire millions of followers worldwide, and his tomb in Baghdad remains a place of pilgrimage for those seeking spiritual guidance and blessings.
